The Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR) is the leading study association for students at Erasmus University Rotterdam interested in (Quantitative) Finance, Consultancy and Accountancy. With over 4000 members, FSR organises various prestigious events such as the International Banking Cycle, International Research Project, Corporate Finance Competition, and Private Equity Days. Members benefit from workshops, inhouse days and other networking events, organised in collaboration with our 130+ partners. Established in 1999 through a merger, FSR bridges the gap between theory - as taught at university - and the versatile financial world in practice. Events of the FSR are, because of our professional approach, always of high quality.

international research project
The International Research Project is the biggest consultancy project of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. Every year, IRP offers tailor-made research to organisations that are interested in getting valuable insights for their business in an international market. Student consultants will gain consultancy experience while doing field research in a far-away destination. Previous partners include Port of Rotterdam, BMW, and Fairtrade.
Confidant at FSR
The FSR has appointed an internal confidant who is available to all FSR members. This confidant has received special training and is fluent in Dutch and English. Everything shared with the confidant is strictly confidential and she will not disclose it to anyone else without explicit permission. The confidant will primarily provide a listening ear.
