Rafaël Wisse

Hi! My name is Rafaël Wisse and I am the Commissioner Finance Activities of the XXIXth Board of the Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR). Prior to my board year, I studied International Business Administration at Erasmus University. Next to my board year, I am active as a guest lecturer for an impact fund.

Last year, I organised the Investment Week & Symposium. This experience gave me valuable insight into what it takes to organise large-scale events and offered me a first look into the world of finance. Eager to build on this, I wanted to deepen my experience and connect with more companies and professionals in the sector. Being part of the FSR board offers a unique combination: gaining hands-on work experience, building a professional network and being closely involved in student life, all at the same time. This allows me to discover where my future lies and how I can make a meaningful impact.

My role as Commissioner Finance Activities

As Commissioner Finance Activities, I am primarily responsible for organising FSR’s finance-related events. These include the International Banking Cycle (IBC), the Financial Career Cycle (FCC), the Corporate Finance Competition (CFC), the PE Days & M&A Days and the London Finance Tour (LFT). I organise these events together with my fellow board members and various committees, which allows me to collaborate with a wide range of people and continuously strengthen my teamwork skills.
