Thijmen de Mooij

My name is Thijmen de Mooij and I am the Vice President of the XXVIIth board of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. Two years ago, I started my bachelor Economics and Business Economics at Erasmus University. Last April, I decided to move to Rotterdam to fully immerse myself in the city's vibrant life.

My role as Vice President

During my second year, I was looking to gain more practical knowledge and completed two internships. These experiences sparked my interest in other aspects of finance, ultimately leading me to FSR and inspiring me to apply for a position on the board.

I believe FSR offers the perfect balance between professionalism and sociability.

As the Vice President of FSR, I oversee all communications with our members, this means I handle marketing efforts and serve as the primary contact person for all members. Additionally, I manage data analysis and ensure our website remains up to date. I also oversaw the launch of our new website and rebranding. Besides, I will be organizing events such as Dealmakers, M&A- and PE-Days, and the International Research Project 2025, providing me with the opportunity to explore the consulting field. This means I will have the chance to dive into most fields within finance.
