Freja Kovar Smed

My name is Freja Kovar Smed, the External Relations of the XXVIIth board of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. After finishing my highschool, I knew I wanted to study in an international environment. I have a very international background and this, in combination with a strong interest in economics, drew me to study economics in Rotterdam. During my bachelor, I discovered that I enjoyed the more quantitative courses and especially the finance courses the most. I decided to do a board year to take a short break from studying and discover what the diverse world of finance has to offer from a non-academic perspective.

My role as External

As External Relations, my primary focus is to have contact with the partners of the FSR, maintain relationships, and initiate new collaborations. I really enjoy meeting all the companies and seeing how diverse the world of finance, accounting, and consultancy can be. Besides this, I also organize different events like the Financial Career Cycle and the Investment week together with my board and commission members.
