Bente van den Boom

My name is Bente van den Boom, the External Relations of the XXVIIIth board of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. After finishing my highschool, I knew I was interested in mathematics and economics. That is why I chose my bachelor, International Business Administration (IBA). During my bachelors, I discovered my passion for quantitative courses. The finance courses especially caught my interest. Because of that, I decided to join the Investment Week & Symposium committee of FSR. I learned a lot from doing this committee and got very excited about FSR. I decided to do a board year to take a short break from studying and discover what the diverse world of finance has to offer from a non-academic perspective.

My role as External

As External Relations, my primary focus is to have contact with the partners of the FSR, maintain relationships, and initiate new collaborations. I really enjoy meeting all the companies and seeing how diverse the world of finance, accounting, and consultancy can be. Besides this, I also organize different events like the Financial Career Cycle and the Investment week together with my board and commission members.
