3i is a publicly listed (FTSE 100) investment company with complementary businesses, Private Equity and Infrastructure, specialising in core investment markets in northern Europe and North America with over 75 years’ experience. As proprietary capital investors we have a long-term, responsible approach. We create value through thoughtful origination, disciplined investment and active management of our assets, driving sustainable growth in our investee companies.

Through our Private Equity business comprised of c.55 investment professionals across offices in 7 countries we invest in mid-market companies with an enterprise value between €100m - €500m by taking a majority stake. Our current Private Equity portfolio of c.€22bn AUM and c.€16bn proprietary capital consists of 28 companies present in over 70 countries. Access to both 3i’s balance sheet and external capital allows us significant flexibility in how we finance deals and the length of our investment hold period. Our typical investment holding period is 3-5 years, although we may hold investments for longer depending on the strategy for the investment. We focus on four core sectors: Business and Technology Services, Consumer, Healthcare and Industrial Technology. In each we have a proven track record and a deep international network of contacts.

In the Benelux, we operate with a team of 10 investment professionals together managing a portfolio of 10 companies including Action, Basic-Fit and Hans Anders. In the past 2 years we completed the acquisitions of Dutch Bakery, Mepal, Yanga, Konges Slojd, and VakantieDiscounter.

IK Investment Partners

IK Partners is een pan-Europese Private Equity speler die zich richt op het investeren in en samenwerken met kleine en middelgrote bedrijven om hen te helpen de volgende fase van groei en ontwikkeling te bereiken. IK is een van de meest actieve en bekende PE-fondsen in de Benelux-markt betrokken bij vele toonaangevende deals, zoals de verkoop van Signature Foods (onder meer bekend van de merken Johma en Heks'nkaas) en overnames van You Sure en Innovad, maar ook door voormalige investeringen van oa Wehkamp en CID Lines. IK heeft toegewijde Benelux Mid-Cap en Small-Cap teams, die zijn gevestigd in Amsterdam.

NPM Capital

Founded in 1948, NPM is the oldest PE in the Netherlands. NPM does not have a typical fund structure resulting in a flexible investment horizon. By looking at the Long-Term First we can fully focus on sustainable value creation. We help our companies grow to the next phase of development in scale and professionalism, even if this requires a period of ten years or longer.

With offices in Amsterdam and Ghent, we focus on Benelux-headquartered companies. Current investments of NPM include a.o. Picnic (online supermarket), Infinitas (educational publisher), Otolift (stairlift manufacturer), and Suitsupply (men’s apparel).

Torqx investeert in middelgrote bedrijven met een hoofdkantoor in de Benelux. Daarbij investeert Torqx onder meer in groei-, buy-&-build- en transformatie situaties.
