Then join our LSEG Workspace Masterclass, where you will learn about the usage of the terminal by experts from the Erasmus Data Service Centre!

What is LSEG Workspace?

LSEG workspace is a financial database that can be used by students at the Erasmus University Rotterdam for scientific and educational purposes. The Masterclass focuses on students with limited experience with using LSEG Workspace and are interested in analysing financial market data. During the one hour masterclass, students will learn how to navigate the terminal and use basic data-gathering functions in Excel. The participants will work with LSEG Workspace on a computer while following instructions on a big screen. The skills taught in this class can be extremely valuable for data analysis to conduct research for your thesis. You can sign up for one of the two sessions, depending on which time would suit you best.

Furthermore, you get the opportunity to learn how to get a certificate for LSEG Workspace.

EVENT OVERVIEW

• Event period: 4th of December, session 1 (15.00 - 16.00) and session 2 (16.00 - 17.00)
• Registration: First-come, first-serve. The first 20 students per session are assured of a spot, after which we will work with a waiting list.
• Location: Polak Data Centre (Polak Building, Y1-7)
• Target group: All BSc and MSc students with an interest in financial data
• The masterclasses will be held in English
