Citi is excited to welcome you to our Virtual Conference on the Impact of COVID-19 scheduled for 6 May 2020 at 16.00 – 17.00 CET.

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus has resulted in an unprecedented shock to the global economy and the business operations of companies across various industry sectors. Travel restrictions, boarder closures, and (inter)national measures to contain the virus have led to a significant slowdown in business activities and a downward pressure on consumer demand. The deteriorating global economic outlook combined with falling oil prices and declining asset prices are creating a severe and extensive credit shock across many sectors, regions and markets. As the crisis continues, uncertainty remains around the conditions for economic recovery, both in terms of returning to normal operations and full employment as well as more generally to demand recovery.

• The objective of this session is to share our insights of the magnitude of COVID-19 and its impact on businesses, the financial system, Citi in particular, and our global clients. In addition, being among the world’s most Global Banks, we are keen to share more on Citi’s role amid this crisis.
• While we will kick-off with a short introduction, touching upon the recent developments and implications, the focus will be on you and your questions. Think of questions related to how we manage the crisis within the bank (e.g. capital management), how we support our clients (e.g. liquidity), but also more generally how we manage our work during these turbulent and unprecedented times.
• Challenge our views, ask about our personal experiences, and start the dialogue. We look forward to engaging with all of you!
