Titel: Asset management & Lifecycle investing
Intro:
Would you like to learn more about Asset Management and discover how Lifecycle Investing plays a role in this field? During this conference, you will gain insight into how these concepts come together in practice and why they are highly relevant for institutional investors. In addition, the application of these strategies by pension funds to achieve long-term objectives will be discussed.
On Thursday, 12 February, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, FSR will host a conference at Sanders 04, together with Laurens Swinkels (Robeco) and Maarten Lubbe (APG). Afterwards, you are warmly invited to join the networking drinks at Paviljoen.
Robeco:
Founded right here in Rotterdam, Robeco has grown into a world-class international asset manager. With over €200 billion under management, Robeco is a global leader in innovative and evidence-based investing. They were one of the first firms to embrace quantitative investing, using mathematical models and data science in the investment process. That’s why they call themselves ‘The Investment Engineers’. Robeco offers a broad range of active investments, from equities to bonds. Laurens Swinkels, Head of Solutions Research, will delve into the topic of life-cycle investing. He will explore how investment strategies must evolve to meet a person’s changing needs as they age.
APG Asset Management:
As one of the world’s largest pension investors, APG manages almost €600 billion in assets. Their scale allows them to be a dominant force in global financial markets, with a presence that spans from Amsterdam and New York to Hong Kong. By diversifying across a broad range of asset classes, from private equity to infrastructure, APG successfully improve risk-adjusted returns. The results speak for themselves: outperforming the market in nine out of the past ten years. APG does not only look at financial returns, but also at making a contribution to society as a whole. Maarten Lubbe, Investment Strategist, will explain how APG makes use of strategic long-term asset allocation to navigate global market shifts and secure sustainable returns.
