Corporate Finance Competition Committee

Fluency in Dutch is required for the application for this committee.

The Corporate Finance Competition is a two-day event at a luxurious location with four major banks (ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, Van Lanschot). During this event, students will get acquainted with corporate finance by solving different cases guided by the hosting companies. Participants will be offered the opportunity to get a better insight into the issues related to corporate finance, learn more about the world of corporate finance, have the opportunity to develop their presentation skills and broaden their network.

As a committee member you are responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:

• Developing a comprehensive promotion plan.

• Assisting during the workshops, presentations, and networking receptions.

• Managing marketing activities and overseeing the logistical aspects of the event.

After the Corporate Finance Competition, you will organise the Valuation, which is a two-day event that teaches the fundamentals of popular valuation techniques used by investment banking practitioners. Training the street will provide this valuation training. They also provide these trainings for Harvard and Insead. On the second day financial houses offer in-house workshops.
