Fluency in Dutch is required for the application for this committee.

FSR organizes three Conferences throughout the academic year. These are open events for all students, where speakers from renowned companies come to give a talk about their industry and field of expertise. Every Conference is focused on a branch of the financial industry and has a specific theme. As a committee member, your ideas contribute to selecting the theme for each Conference. Past Conferences include the Private Equity Conference, the Venture Capital Conference and Alternative Investments Conference.

Private Equity Conference
The Private Equity Conference is the FSR kick-off event for the academic year. The goal of the Conference is to discuss current topics in Private Equity, such as ‘Dry Powder’.

As a committee member you are responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:

  • Setting up a promotion plan;
  • Selecting the theme for each Conference;
  • Inviting relevant speakers and the hosts;
  • Organising the Conferences.

Events: Two conferences for which you are free to select a theme, Private Equity Conference
Time period: September 2023 - June 2024 (with an average of 3 hours per week)
Application deadline: September 17th, 2023
Committee composition: 2 committee members, 1 board member
