As an Investment Banking Intern in Macquarie Capital, you’ll be working in corporate advisory on behalf of our clients covering a range of industry sectors and also have exposure to Macquarie’s market leading principal investing capabilities. Our advisers are empowered to think innovatively to address individual client challenges and create opportunities, thinking beyond individual transactions to become a trusted adviser to our clients over the long haul. Infrastructure & Energy

Our Infrastructure & Energy division combines advisory services with investing our own capital alongside clients and partners to realise opportunity.
Infrastructure Projects & Principle
This team is involved as Financial Advisor and Investor in a variety of project finance transactions. Ranging from the EUR 1bn Blankenburg Tunnel PPP in Rotterdam, the EUR 350m Haren Prison PPP in Brussels to Datacentres and internet cables. The team is currently looking for an off cycle Intern in London with Dutch language skills to support the team for c. 12 weeks.
As an intern, you’ll be fully trained to conduct financial analysis from day one, including developing and running financial models in Excel and performing company valuations under the oversight of experienced team members. You can also expect to review due diligence materials (such as market forecasts, technical, insurance and legal due diligence reports) to identify risks and business value drivers as well as preparing materials for external meetings and pitch books for winning new business. You will develop the full range of financial modelling and commercial skills that come from an investment banking role at a world-class financial institution, laying the foundations for an exceptional career in financial services.
We're looking for students completing their degree in 2019-2020 from a wide range of degree backgrounds and on track for a 2:1 or equivalent. Together we can create success for our clients, colleagues and communities. You can build your own future as you contribute to ours.

About our Internship Programme
By joining as an Intern you'll become an integral member of the team for your entire placement. You'll be sitting side-by-side with business leaders, learning on the job, making a difference and working on live projects and transactions.
You'll then embark on a structured 12 week program, starting with a Macquarie wide orientation, your career development will continue with on-the-job training and the opportunity to build your network. The experience you will have throughout your programme can set you up for a successful career following the completion of your studies.
