You can only apply for a committee of the FSR if you are a native Dutch speaker.
As the conference committee is responsible for two events during the year, the Finance Conference in February 2021, the Open Banking Day in May 2021 and the Private Equity Conference in September 2021.
The Sustainable Finance Conference is a one day event where companies can show their relevance with energy finance to interested students. Students can learn about the sector by participating in the workshops and attending the panel discussion. During the workshop they can also demonstrate their skills in Sustainable Finance. As a committee member, you can invite speakers from relevant companies and institutions to contribute to the discussion. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation of the day.
Private Equity Conference
The Private Equity Conference is the FSR kick-off event for the academic year. The goal of the conference is to discuss current topics in Private Equity, such as ‘Dry Powder’. As a committee member you will be responsible for organising the Private Equity Conference 2021.
As a committee member you are responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:
- Setting up a promotion plan;
- Coming up with a theme;
- Inviting relevant speakers;
- Organising the conferences.
